With more than 20 million feet of installed UV CIPP liners in over 40 countries, the Brandenburger process is the most successful system in the world for trenchless sewer rehabilitation using glass fibre reinforced pipe liner.
In 2018 alone, nearly 1.5 million feet of Brandenburger CIPP liner was produced and successfully installed around the world. Watch the following video to find out more:
Patented wrapping technology for trenchless sewer rehabilitation.
Brandenburger develops and manufactures the UV pipe liners in-house at their factory in Germany. What makes it so special is the patented wrapping technology, with which they have produced a total of more than 7M metres of pipe liner over the last 20 years.
Their pipe liners are hardened with UV light, forming a new pipe within the old one. They are wrapped to form a tube with pre-impregnated laminate rolls. This creates a uniform wall thickness and with pre-impregnation complete penetration of the resin into the glass fibre matrix can be guaranteed. This ensures that there are no flaws in the material and a full-surface pure resin layer forms on the surface of the pipe liner.
As the dimensions, cross-sections and mechanical loads differ depending on the channel to be rehabilitated, there is a suitable product for every situation combined – contact S1E if you have any questions or need technical advice.
Components & Quality assurance
The main components are glass and resin. Brandenburger has obtained DIN EN 9001:2008 certification. This UV light-curing pipe liner and base material have been specially developed for small nominal widths. This increases the cost-effectiveness of the installation, combined with all the benefits of the UV liner.
Circular profile: DN 200, DN 225, DN 250 and DN 300
Total wall thickness: 4.2 mm (4.0 mm composite wall thickness + 0.2 mm wearing layer)
