The Hermes Technologie, M-Coating System is a semi-automatic manhole coating system designed for mobile applications and efficient rehabilitation of wastewater structures. Developed using over 20 years of industry experience, this compact system enables the professional refurbishment of both round and square sewer shafts using the centrifugal coating method.
Engineered for flexibility and performance, the M-Coating System delivers consistent, high-quality coatings using ERGELIT mortar, while reducing the need for manual work inside hazardous shaft environments. Its compact design and mobile capability make it particularly suitable for projects where access is limited.
M-Coating System: All-In-One Manhole Renovation System
The M-Coating System provides an efficient entry-level solution for the rehabilitation of sewer shafts with diameters ranging from DN 500 to DN 4500. Despite its compact footprint, the system offers advanced functionality typically found in larger automated equipment.
Thanks to its mobile construction with integrated wheels, the unit can be installed in service vehicles, trailers, or used as a standalone mobile system. Its space-saving design also allows it to be transported easily on a standard 1.20 m × 0.80 m pallet, simplifying logistics and deployment.
The system applies ERGELIT mortar in a controlled and uniform spray pattern using a centrifugal process, ensuring a consistent coating result. Substrate preparation is carried out using either the TSSR® high-pressure water unit or the optional HDS Jet® solid water jet nozzle, ensuring optimal surface preparation prior to coating.
Beyond manhole rehabilitation, the M-Coating System can also be used for wet spraying large surfaces, mortar injection, pressure grouting of masonry, and coating of horizontal sewer pipes. This versatility makes it a practical and adaptable solution for a wide range of wastewater infrastructure rehabilitation tasks.
