ERGELIT-KS1 is a highly versatile coating mortar designed for use across a wide range of applications in wastewater infrastructure and construction. Acting as a true multi-purpose solution, it can be used as masonry mortar, grout, coating mortar, laying mortar, or repair mortar. Its robust formulation and excellent adhesion make it particularly suitable for demanding environments such as municipal wastewater systems, where durability, reliability and corrosion resistance are essential.
Overview
ERGELIT-KS1 is developed to deliver consistent performance across different application methods and challenging working conditions. Whether applied manually, through wet spraying, or via the centrifugal M-Coating (KS-ASS) process, the mortar maintains dependable quality and performance.
The product has been tested according to DIN 19573 XWW3-B2 and holds DIBt approval, providing confidence in its durability and compliance with industry standards. In addition, the mortar becomes water-resistant within approximately two hours at 20°C, allowing projects to progress more efficiently.
ERGELIT-KS1 is particularly suited to wastewater structures such as sewer shafts, where its high resistance to sulphate attack, exceptional bonding strength and impermeability help ensure long-term protection against corrosion and water penetration.
