Description
ERGELIT-KS2 is a high-performance, multi-purpose coating mortar developed specifically for industrial and municipal wastewater environments. Designed as a true all-rounder, it can be used as masonry mortar, joint mortar, coating mortar, laying mortar, and repair mortar, making it a reliable solution for a wide range of construction and rehabilitation tasks.
Overview
ERGELIT-KS2 is formulated to meet the demanding conditions found in aggressive industrial wastewater systems, where resistance to chemical attack and long-term durability are essential. It provides dependable waterproofing and corrosion protection, even in environments exposed to substances such as sulphates, oils, ammonia, and other chemicals.
The mortar has been tested in accordance with DIN 19573 XWW4-B2, confirming its suitability for highly corrosive conditions. Its fast-setting properties allow it to become water-resistant after approximately 2 hours at 20°C, helping to reduce downtime and accelerate project completion.
ERGELIT-KS2 also offers excellent flexibility in application, whether applied manually, via wet spraying, or using the centrifugal KS-ASS process. Its high adhesion and thixotropic consistency allow for layer thicknesses of up to 30 mm in a single application, making it ideal for both coating and reprofiling work.
